NSW: Fourth man charged over father, baby assault
SYDNEY, Aug 20 AAP - A fourth man was today charged over the assault of a father andhis baby in Sydney's south.
Elizabeth Nunes suffered a fractured skull when her father Jeremy, who was cradlingher while walking to their Maroubra home, was attacked last Thursday night.
Today police charged a 20-year-old Matraville man in connection with the assault.
He was expected to face Waverley Local Court this afternoon charged with affray, maliciouslyinflict grievous bodily harm in company, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The man is the fourth to be charged over the attack.
Eric Noel McKenna, 23, of Chifley, David James Betts, 20, of Kingsford, and 21-year-oldTrent Benischke, of Mascot, appeared before Waverley Local Court yesterday.
All three were granted strict conditional bail by Magistrate Bernard Kennedy and orderedto reappear in the same court on October 14.
