NSW:One charged over robbery and shootout

A man will face a Sydney court today charged over yesterday's armed robbery that led
to gunshots being fired and a five hour stand-off with police in the city's inner-west.

The 32-year-old was arrested as he left a hotel at Camperdown that he and his accomplice
had robbed.

He's been charged with robbery in company and is due to appear at Parramatta Bail Court
later today.

Meanwhile, a 27-year-old man remains in hospital under police guard.

He injured himself when scaling the fence of the Chinese Consulate in a attempt to
escape police after gunshots were exchanged.

Police expect to charge him in the near future.
