TWINSBURG, Ohio - With an increasing market share in its nine-state trading area, rapidly rising same-store sales through its roughly 1,200 outlets and strong gains in operating profits, the success story continues at Revco D.S.
"As far as our position goes," says president and chief executive officer Dwayne Hoven, "I wouldn't want to trade with anybody."
The chain, which now holds one of the top four shares in 16 of the nation's 100 leading drug store markets, continues to reap the benefits of a $100 million store renovation program that has placed greater emphasis on pharmacy and other core chain drug categories.
