WA: Wife fighting for life after car ploughs into home
PERTH, Feb 8 AAP - A 62-year-old man is dead and his 66-year-old wife is fighting forher life after a car ploughed into their Perth home as they sat watching television.
Police are investigating why the car travelled about 80 metres after being rear-endedby a four-wheel drive vehicle.
The accident happened about 1pm yesterday when a 4WD smashed into the back of a sedanon a busy road in suburban Myaree, police said.
The force of the impact sent the smaller car careering towards the couple's home, onthe corner of a side street 80 metres away.
